I gave in. After reading this word over and over, I finally decided that I had to find what it meant (dictionary meaning) and where it came from (etymology).
That's right, I gave in.
I hate it when everyone uses a word as though it's been used forever and ever.
Like, when I moved to Berkeley and everyone was saying "queue" instead of "line", or "procrastinating" instead of "wasting time"...
It just reminds me of that Seinfeld episode, again, when George eats a chocolate bar with a knife and fork and everyone else starts doing it because it's "sophisticated".
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!?! Must everything be a fashion? Leave words alone!
I MEAN IT!!!
Ok, I'm angry because I have a thousand insect-bites on my legs and arms and I can't stop itching, and I want to write an email to Stan and I can't, and I keep on thinking that my mom is in the hospital recovering from her surgery (yes, everything went well), and that the fucking music is off, and that I have to travel three floors down to get my dental floss, and then three floors up to brush my teeth, and I feel uncomfortable and tired, and probably like I have food poisoning.
Grrrrr....
